Terrain: Mostly Flat
Destination:  Arlington, Cambridge, Boston and back
Meeting Place: In front of the Starbucks in Arlington Heights (Next to
Trader Joe's on Mass. Ave)

Meeting Time: 9:45am Leave promptly at 10:00
Other Notes:   Ride down the bike path, through Harvard Square and down to the Arthur Fielder statue by the Esplanade.  Depending on the weather or the group, we may ride a little further.

Mileage:  15 or 27 miles

Terrain: Mostly Flat and rolling hill
Destination:  Concord, Carlisle and Lincoln (map)

Meeting Place: Concord Center parking lot on Keyes Rd.
Meeting Time: 9:45am Leave promptly at 10:00
Other Notes:   Since there are people who with prefer a shorter ride, or are not sure how far they can ride, this route will allow people to end in the middle (15 miles) or continue on for the total distance.

Horn Pond Loop

Terrain: Flat, Rolling Hills and One Big Mother hill (that a lot of people walk up)
Destination: Arlington, Winchester, Woburn
Meeting Place:
Jam N Java (formerly Carberrys Bakery, but it is at 594 Mass Ave in Arlington.  Please park on the street)

Meeting Time: 9:45am Leave promptly at 10:00

Other Notes:  Don't worry too much about the hill.  It's a very pretty ride.  We always take a break at the top.

Bikes Not Bombs

I am forming a team to ride in Bikes Not Bombs’ Bike-a-thon on Sunday, June 7th this year!! The Bike-A-Thon is going to be HUGE, and at the end of the ride, we end up at the Green Roots festival: with speakers live music, environmentally themed workshops, and FREE FOOD! It’s going to be tons of fun and I want YOU to be there with me.

Destination:  Cambridge, Boston, Jamaica Plain, Quincy, Brookline and probably others.

Meeting Place: Most meet at the Bikes Not Bombs hub at 284 Amory St. , in Jamaica Plain (parking available)

Meeting Time: varies, but please try to arrive 15 minutes early

Hull Ride

Meeting place: 347 Beach Ave (Bernie's House), Hull

Directions : Nantasket Ave to 'V' Street. Right onto 'V' Street. Driveway to house is last driveway on the left hand side before you get to the beach. We are NOT the corner house. We are one in from the corner on the left hand side. Parking is always a bit tight at the beach, so carpooling would be a good idea if you can. Or you can pay for parking at the beach and ride to the house.

Route: Hull Cohasset ride ending back at 347 Beach Ave for a pot luck barbecue. Refrigeration for food will be provided while biking.  I will provide cold drinks and condiments.

The Mass BikePike Tour

This is an event run by Bike Rides For Ordinary People and supports MassBike, our statewide bicycle advocacy group.  No fundraising required.  Just a flat $375 for 4 days riding, breakfasts and great dinners, camping each night (alternative accommodations area available), ride support, maps and loads of fun.  There will be 3 routes available each day (30, 50, or 65 miles).  For more information or to register, go the http://www.MassBikePike.org

2nd Annual Jonathan Gilmour Memorial Scholarship Fund Ride

BIKE (10, 25 or 50 miles) for a great cause across some beautiful countryside in southern NH.

The fund was established by Zoo New England with the generous financial support and volunteer leadership from the Gilmour family. The allows recipients to follow their dreams and further their personal education on a subject that is important to them.

Each year, the award is given to someone who has presented to the award committee a project that represents and embodies the commitment to conservation and education of both the applicant and Zoo New England. The project can be either field study or classroom study. It may be related to any animal species research, welfare, conservation or rehabilitation.

12th Annual BIKE-Arlington Tour

Mileage: 8 miles

The 12th annual BIKE-Arlington Tour is scheduled for Sunday morning, May 17 , starting from the municipal parking lot behind the Jefferson Cutter House in Arlington Center. Sunday June 14th - Bike To The Sea

17th Annual Family Fun Ride

Mileage: 10 & 18 Miles

Time: 9AM (8:30 if not pre-registered)

Cyclists can choose from three exciting routes of 26, 62 (100K) or 100 miles, winding along the Merrimack River through historic Rocks Village and along the scenic New Hampshire seacoast. In 2003 Cycle For shelter was listed in the country's premiere cycling magazine "Bicycling" as one of its readers favorite rides.

A minimum fundraising level of $125.00 is set in addition to the registration fee .
